FAQs
Understanding how we operate

As the name suggests, a closed-door pharmacy is not open to the public, unlike retail pharmacies that are open to patients and customers. Instead, closed-door pharmacies cater specifically to the needs of LTC facilities and their patients, with services that support medication management, packaging, and speedy shipping. This allows us to devote all our time and energies toward supporting LTC facilities and patients. We also service long-term care at home patients. This helps take the burden off of caregivers to deliver medications for people who may not be able to get to a pharmacy easily.
We have multiple forms on our website including an intake form where you can easily get the process started, for a provider to enroll a patient for service, or to request prescriptions be transferred from an existing pharmacy. Better yet? No need to call your pharmacy--we call your old pharmacy for you! Your provider can also fax us with the needed information to start, or you can always give us a call too. We are available to get you started and make the transferring process easy!
We offer 7, 14, and 28-day supply of medication based on a patient’s needs. If a patient has multiple medication changes, we can shorten the supply to limit waste. This also alleviates the chance of a patient taking unwanted or discontinued medication.
If a medication change is needed, give us a call! We will work with your healthcare team to make the necessary changes in a timely fashion so that it doesn’t disrupt your routine delivery of medication.
We provide services such as delivery and adherence packaging at no extra cost to our patients!
